Want Something Good

We all want something good in life… to be a part of something good, something valuable, something respected.  We want to belong, to be valued, and to make a contribution.  We don’t want to be taken advantage of, or have our time wasted.  We also don’t have a lot of time to give, so we want to be sure that if we attend an event or get involved with an organization, that it’s going to give us enough back in return.

We also have a burning desire to say something, to do something, to make a change in this world of ours, to leave a mark.  Of course we also want to make money and do what we love as many hours of the day as possible.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve tried so hard to get my work out there, to make a registrable impact, and sometimes, it seems like nobody is listening.  Regardless, you keep hope and love in your heart, and keep looking for the right circumstances, a safe place in which to express this well of ennobled feeling.

You’re just not sure that the Hollywood Happiness Club is that place.  You’re not sure that it is something you want to commit to with your whole heart — I mean, after all, you didn’t start it, you didn’t come up with it, you’re not even sure what it really is…you just know your old friend Sean is up to something.

To me, Hollywood Happiness is a way of life for us to start living.  It’s a way of seeing the world.  It’s… Hollywood Happiness.  I don’t even know what it is, I just know that it is good.  It’s something.  So, I am organizing events and meetings, and putting projects together from a place of good and you just have to show up in spirit.  You don’t even have to be there in person (although it doesn’t cost anything to come to our meetings), but you do have to commit in your mind.  Commit your life, as an artist, as a person, as a spirit, to the ideal of Hollywood Happiness: a good thing that is creating more good things as we combine our energies, ideas, and talents.  It may not seem like much yet, but it is.  And it’s growing.

When I look back, it seems like I have been through much to be here for you.  I have seen my “life” crumble more than once.  I have traveled across the globe to be here with you.  I have criss-crossed America to be here with you.  I have loved and lost to be here with you.  I have have been betrayed by those I trusted, so that I can be here with you now.  We’ve all been hurt or restrained and dreamed of a world where we can be safe and free.  The time is now to  create it.

Join with me in your heart and nowhere else.  You can skip all the meetings, you don’t have to donate $50,000 so we can go Christmas Caroling at lots of senior centers, you don’t have to read my scripts, or give me an acting job, or produce my reality show.  I only need your heart to unite with mine in a common goal: to see a pure world the way that the Blessed Divine One sees the world.  We can change our perspective in order to change our world.  This is is our mission as a group.  And only from this mission, can the proper action emerge.  And our group will become what it is meant to be.

So, that said, you wanna attend our next meeting?  It’s Tuesday at 10 A.M.

ALL ARE WELCOME: A lot of us are into producing entertainment but no matter what your business or occupation, if you are interested in educating the public about how to be happier, or if you are interested in being happier or living a more peaceful life, you are welcome at this informal networking meeting.

Meeting Agenda:

1.  Everyone who attended Jan. meeting: bring updates on your projects in development, and tell us what we can do to help you! E.g. Veronica and Lara’s short film, “Obtuse”, had a very successful Vegas night fundraiser this past weekend.  I know it was a success because I was there and they cleaned me out at the craps table!

2.  Meet n’ greet with new friends who will introduce themselves and / or pitch us their best projects.  Will “Nowman” make an appearance???

3.  Strategizing for success in the “happy” entertainment industry as a group — together we can move mountains (of DVDs and tickets sales)!
