Happy People Share their Secrets and Boogie Down With You

HOLLYWOOD / ATWATER VILLAGE, California (August 3, 2010) – Looking for a Saturday night that will leave you buzzing for days? Try getting “fun”-ky at the launch celebration / show for the new “Hollywood Happiness Club” Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 7:30 P.M.–11 P.M. at Wordspace in Atwater Village.

The Hollywood Happiness Club whose mission is “healing the world, one laugh, one breath, one song at a time” will hold this first public event at Wordspace, the eclectic little Atwater Village meeting place for writers / performers on the newly redesigned Casitas Culture strip in Atwater. The activities will begin at 8 P.M. sharp with a guided meditation to stimulate all in the crowd to let go the outside world and be carefree (new meditators strongly encouraged to try). After a short break, a music video, Greg Larsen‘s “Better Friends”, and Jason Whisman’s short film “Mary Anne Goes to the Market” will be screened, followed by musical, theatrical, and spoken word performances designed to evoke laughter and enlighten.

After the performances, stimulating conversation, dancing, and refreshments will give the spirits present a chance to soar.

This launch event will also commemorate Club President Sean A. Mulvihill’s 30th birthday. Mulvihill founded the club in May 2010 in order to “provide a healthy entertainment option for the consciously evolved on a Saturday night.”

Tickets, which are $12 in advance, are on sale here!!!

It appears that sometimes the confirmation link emails take a while to appear in your inbox, but they should show up eventually — but also, make sure you type in your email correctly, that can be the issue… Regardless, I’ve confirmed with you and put you on the list anyway!!!
